Weekend Burnt 2

Today I had to attend the Emergency Preparedness programme by SCDF together with the students mainly 'volunteers' from Scouts and Red Cross. I was late by few minutes.

I saw Mr L with his scouts and Miss H with her red cross. We did some chat before they left us once the programme. The scouts consist of the class who knew me when I did relief teaching, very naughty and loud bunch of students.

The programme consist of 3 sessions - fire fighting (using the fire extingusiher), CPR and First Aid. I introduced myself to the staff sergeant who in charge of the programme and he explain to me the importance of the programme for XX Seconday school and asked for my email and handphone number to discuss about the programme he and SCDF will want our school to be first to do the programme.

I took some photos on the kids and their learning. It was quite fun and hilarious to see them learning hands-on. I also did some hans-on. It was fun and interactive with them . The residents nearby also got involved.



Then we had a break for awhile and I called YT to come later since the break ended at 2pm and no point he came here at 1 pm when everyone was not around since they prefer to eat outside. It was because the queue was quite long with the staff from the construction company who came here to attend the programme too.

I waited for my parents to fetch me and hence I had lunch with the students at mcdonald's. I treated two boxes of nuggets for the scouts and red cross who were there with me. I had a hearty chat with them. They were such a bright students.

Then my parents came and fetch me at the community center and then we went to the Upper Bukit Timah Road to browse the car. My parents were going to buy me a car.

Then we decided on the Toyota Vios , much afforadable price for me with lower pay.I did the test drive and feel comfortable and my parents love it too. I cannot wait for the car to come at the end of october.

I start to think of my financial management now.
